"The Future of Social Networking" - 2006/12/27 00:47 well that's what it says on their website!

Anyway I found this script that looks, to be honest pretty amazing. I found it because I stumbled accross a small community site using it. Any way it's basically a MySpace style script for a social networking site.

point ur browser here:
http://www.phpfox.com/

I don't have the time or desire to pursue anything along these lines so i figured I may as well post it here. I don't know how many people know about this, but obviously to get a lot of users u would really have to specialise in some way and probably mod the script.

obviously the main catch is the price: $300 with a note at bottom, $375 without. But I don't think that is bad for a script this powerful. And open source so u can mod

If anyone has any luck using this I would love to see your site!

Re:"The Future of Social Networking" - 2006/12/31 02:23 Good script n all, but I don't see the point in anyone starting 'another' social networking site. People want to meet people - so they get a spot on a site with lots of members - myspace, faceparty etc.

People are starting to make more but they won't get a massive amount of members, so I wouldn't personally invest $300 of my money into it. It's like trying to create another Google - by that I mean you're trying to recreate something without any major flaws (MySpace).

Re:"The Future of Social Networking" - 2006/12/31 02:41 Yer you would have to seriously modify it to create something unique enough for people to sign up.

It could be useful, for example, to create a regional thing, like yorkshire shopping community website lmao. okay not a good example.

like i say, I won't be using it, just looked cool!
